You still apply like any other renter: application, screening, deposit. The difference is the community completes paperwork with your housing authority and passes an inspection before you move in, which can add two to four weeks, so start earlier than you would for a market lease. Your voucher covers the portion of rent your housing authority approves; you pay the rest. Our help is free either way, and these are the communities that have processed vouchers smoothly for our renters.
4 of the 12 communities here are income restricted, marked in the list, so your household income has to fall under their limit as well. The rest are market rate communities that accept vouchers. Looking only for income restricted homes? Use the Income Restricted filter on the map.
