The area photos on this site come from photographers who share their work on Wikimedia Commons. Here's who took each one, where the original lives and the license that lets us use it.
You'll see these on each area's page, in our neighborhoods guide and on the homepage. We crop and resize them and mute the color a little so they look like one set, and an area's own page puts a dark tint behind its headline.

Property photos belong to the communities they show and appear courtesy of those communities' public marketing pages and the listing feeds that carry them.
Each of our community reviews credits its photos to the community it covers:
Manage a community and want a different photo? Send us the one you'd rather we show. Want one taken down? Email hey@austinapartments.com with the community's name. Our copyright page has the details.
When we don't have a photo of a community, its card or map pin shows the street out front or a view from above. Street views come live from Google Street View and carry Google's credit on the image. Aerial views are satellite images from Mapbox and Maxar, and each one carries the © Mapbox © Maxar credit.
If you took one of these photos and the credit's wrong or missing, email hey@austinapartments.com and we'll fix it.
